2017 Regional Meetings

Earlier this year, we announced our new Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence Curriculum. This spring’s regional meetings will explore our Principle #3: Governance.

A nonprofit’s board of directors is the organization’s steward and is responsible for developing and maintaining public trust by ensuring effective movement toward the organization’s mission. To be effective, the role of the board members needs to be clearly defined and focus on providing overall leadership and strategic direction to the organization. Join us at one of these regional meetings to learn how to implement best practices and principles for your organization’s governance and make sure your board is enabling you to meet goals and carry out your mission! All nonprofits are welcome.
