About the Presenter:

TINA CARINCI MORRIS

Strategic Communications | Fund Development | Grant Writing & Compliance

With 40 years of experience in communications, marketing, development, and grant writing, Tina is passionate about helping organizations from across the United States secure sustainable funding and execute impactful marketing strategies.

She began her career as a reporter and anchor in radio and television news before transitioning to corporate communications at Weirton Steel, where she produced and anchored a nationally recognized weekly newscast. She was also part of the team that took the company public on the New York Stock Exchange and played a key role in communicating a $100 million capital improvement plan.

For over 34 years, Tina has specialized as a consultant in development and marketing, successfully managing numerous annual campaigns, capital campaigns, and special events—raising and leveraging over $250 million for her clients. She has also produced, written, and anchored national and regional training materials, corporate videos, and commercials.

Tina leads a TEAM of independent consultants who specialize in marketing, development, grant research and writing for federal, state, and private foundation funding. The TEAM also provides compliance management, reporting, and strategic planning services for a diverse range of clients, including government entities, nonprofits, businesses, schools, police and fire departments, and faith-based organizations.

A native of Weirton, West Virginia, Tina was a high school Academic All American. She is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and dual minors in Political Science and English. At WVU, Tina was the first president in the United States of the Student Radio and Television News Directors Association. She currently resides in Wheeling and is the proud mother of two
daughters: Mallory, a double board-certified medical doctor, and Madison, a licensed
occupational therapist.
