SUMMARY:Fundraising Series: To Campaign or Not to Campaign - Assessing Campaign Readiness
DESCRIPTION:This webinar series is being hosted by CommonGood Vermont \nMarch 117th\, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM \nRegistration Fees: $45 for single tickets\, $40.50 for members \nREGISTRATION\nNonprofit leaders and fundraisers often ask how to know if they’re ready for a special campaign—whether for facilities\, endowment\, or other special needs. \nThis presentation will provide a framework for answering the question—and to address any gaps. We will walk you through a method of self-assessment that’s based on key indicators of campaign success that we have observed in our decades of experience and research. \nThese indicators reach across your organization: the Board and other volunteer leadership; the organizational leadership; your prospect list; your fundraising operation; your image in the community; and\, crucially\, how relevant\, urgent\, and compelling your plans and preliminary case are. Organizations that have done the work in all of these areas are better positioned to succeed in a campaign. \nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to certificates@commongoodvt.org. \nThis webinar is a part of Common Good Vermont’s 2026 Fundraising Series. If you would like to purchase a ticket for all four webinars of this series ($50+ in savings)\, please register here. SUMMARY:Improving Employee Recruitment and Retention Through Child Care Investment
DESCRIPTION:This webinar is being hosted by the WVNPA \nApril 20th\, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM \nRegistration Fees: Free \nREGISTER\nChild care costs continue to pose a major challenge to employee recruitment\, retention\, and economic growth across West Virginia. To address this issue\, the West Virginia Nonprofit Association [and Philanthropy West Virginia] are partnering with Wonderschool to host a free informational webinar on Monday\, April 20\, from 11:00am-12:00pm. The session will spotlight Tri-Share\, a new child care initiative funded by an Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) POWER grant in partnership with the WV Small Business Development Center (WVSBDC). \nAs Governor Morrisey noted\, “Improving workforce participation—that’s the challenge of our time…it’s the biggest issue we have here in the state.”  In response\, the Tri-Share Child Care Program is a fully funded pilot that splits child care costs among the employer\, employee\, and the state. This innovative approach helps employers attract and retain talent while easing the burden on working families. \nIn this webinar\, you’ll learn: \n\nHow the Tri-Share program works\nHow employers and providers can participate\nPractical steps to get involved\n\nEligibility: The current pilot is available to any employer in Boone\, Jackson\, Kanawha\, Lincoln\, Mason\, Putnam\, Roane\, or Wirt counties. Also\, based on the recently approved Governor’s budget\, the pilot is expected to expand statewide over the summer. Therefore\, we encourage all organizations\, regardless of where they are based\, to attend the webinar to learn more. \nThis is a valuable opportunity to explore how investing in childcare can strengthen your workforce and support your community’s long-term success.

Are you serving on a board and could use a refresher? \nHave you been wondering how you can make a difference in your community? Board service is a great way to give back by giving your skills and experience to help a nonprofit that serves a cause or community you care about. She will also give you advice about what to consider when you are selecting a board\, how to find a board that matches your interests\, and show you how to find the right board using our free\, one-of-a-kind board matching platform. \nDETAILS: \nWhen: Tuesday\, April 28\, 2026\, Noon – 1:00pm\, EST \nWhere: Online.
