Opportunity for WV Nonprofits: Cybersecurity Projects with Accelerated Visions and the Cyber-Resilience Resource Center at West Virginia University

Accelerated Visions, in collaboration with West Virginia University’s (WVU) Cyber-Resilience Resource Center (CRRC), is offering an exciting opportunity for West Virginia nonprofits to apply for customized cybersecurity projects. These projects are designed and developed by a team of students from higher education institutions across the state, such as WVU, Marshall, West Virginia Community and Technical Colleges, and others, alongside industry mentors to address your organization’s unique cybersecurity needs.

Why Participate?

Cybersecurity threats are a growing challenge for organizations of all sizes. This program offers nonprofits free, expert-guided cybersecurity solutions while providing students with hands-on learning experiences. Nonprofits receive tailored solutions at no cost.

  • Vulnerability Assessment: Find and address weaknesses in your systems
  • Policy Development: Create data protection and access management policies
  • Endpoint Security: Secure devices connected to your network
  • Data Privacy: Protect sensitive information and meet privacy standards
  • Staff Training: Equip your team to identify and respond to cyber threats
  • Incident Response: Plan for handling potential cyberattacks
