This exciting, two-day in-person event will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, and Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Bridgeport Conference Center.
At this training, we will dive into the world of community development funding, exploring current and emerging funding and technical assistance opportunities available. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to the field, this event is designed to provide valuable insights and networking opportunities.
Our expert speakers will share their knowledge and experience about available state and federal funding resources for community development projects and initiatives. Speakers will include state and federal agency staff from the US Economic Development Administration (EDA), the US Department of Agriculture – Rural Development (USDA-RD), the US Department of Transportation (US DOT), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). We will also have speakers sharing information about Community Development Block Grant funds in WV, disaster and resiliency funding, rural transportation funding, and infrastructure-related funding and resources. Panels will feature agency officials, recent awardees, and public and private foundation partners.
