Ethics made easy. Ethical dilemmas can be avoided if we can understand the role ethics play in the workplace. Areas of focus: why do we have ethics, define ethics and the place ethics has in the workplace, dual relationships, dealing with minors, and dealing with stress (care for the worker).
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to identify the difference between moral and legal standards of conduct; understand and apply the NASW Code of Ethics; explore personal values and beliefs; apply principles to ethical dilemmas; and deal with countertransference and burn out.
