Fundraiser/Project Planner–The Monongahela Outdoor Volunteer Program
Available Immediately: The Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area (AFNHA), in partnership with the Monongahela Outdoor Volunteer program seeks a Fundraiser/Project Planner. The objective of this position is to plan for the development of a volunteer trail maintenance program that will support well-maintained mountain biking and hiking trails to attract recreational tourism. This position will develop a strategic plan for creation of a volunteer trail maintenance center for the Monongahela National Forest, focusing predominantly on trails in the Gauley Ranger District, and raise matching funds for submission of a follow-on 3-year implementation proposal.  This is an economic development project to benefit the counties of Nicholas, Pocahontas, and Webster, West Virginia. WV Community Development Hub– Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Financial Management
The WV Community Development Hub is a ten-year-old statewide nonprofit organization with an annual budget of about $1 million per year. With a mix of restricted and unrestricted grants, federal government funding, foundation and individual contributions, the organization is in need of administrative support to oversee bookkeeping and accounting tasks in support of the mission and leadership. The Hub is seeking a contracted professional to execute all financial tracking and reporting for the organization. This includes accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow activities. The right firm/individual will have experience overseeing operations, including bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and financial management for nonprofit organizations. Thomas Health Foundation – Executive Director
The Executive Director will be charged with the responsibility of preparing and managing an annual operating and capital budget, of effectively managing the Foundation staff, developing, and overseeing all Foundation communications and messaging including social media. The ED will also be in charge of all activities related to the planning, execution, control and evaluation of all fund-raising activities (except those conducted by the Auxiliary and Gift Shop), ensuring that all donor records and files are maintained and kept confidential,  for donor recognition for all donations including event sponsorships, in-kind gifts, year-end giving and capital campaigns, and of maintaining accurate and timely monthly financial reports and working directly with the Foundation’s accountant and outside accounting firm to prepare the annual audit along with preparing and filing the 990 tax return. WV Rivers Coalition—Public Lands Coordinator
