Catholic Charities WV – Quality Improvement Specialist
Catholic Charities West Virginia is seeking a full-time Quality Improvement Specialist in its Child Care Resource Center. The QIS will work closely with the State Coordinator to gain expertise on licensing, registration, and tiered reimbursement requirements. This staff person will perform marketing and outreach to child care providers and consumers on quality improvement, and gain proficiency in rating instruments. In addition, telephone and on-site consultation to directors of child care centers, family child care facilities and family child care homes and community and family education on tiered reimbursement and quality improvement will also be provided. Full-time position located in Wheeling/Fairmont, WV. Qualifications: The Quality Improvement Specialist must meet either: (a) A master’s degree in Early Childhood, Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Child Development and one year of professional experience in a management position or a leadership position in the field of early childhood.   Or (b) A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Developmental Psychology, or Child Development, at least one year of professional experience in a management position or a leadership position in the field of early childhood, and two years of experience as an administrator of a Tier II or Tier III/NAEYC/NAFCC accredited early childhood program. Carnegie Hall – Development Director
Carnegie Hall is looking for a creative and dynamic Development Director to lead our development team. The successful candidate will lead our fundraising and grant writing efforts. We are seeking an individual with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, proven success in grant writing, excellent written and oral communication abilities, strong computer skills including social/digital media experience, and a minimum of three years of progressive responsibility in nonprofit development including coordination/management of staff and volunteers. A candidate with a combination of education and experience that meets these qualifications will be considered. Project Manager Position-WV Hub 
The WV Community Development Hub is seeking a project manager to provide leadership and project management for the WV POWER Support Project. The WV POWER Support Project is a statewide project that provides convening, technical assistance and coaching support to West Virginia based grantees that have received Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) POWER funds to support economic diversification projects. This position will coordinate, organize and lead internal project management teams, including the staff planning team and the project advisory team. The project manager will be responsible for identifying and maintaining deadlines, delegating responsibilities to team members and holding them accountable, tracking and sharing all internal documentation, including meeting notes, maintaining a database of grantees, resource providers and stakeholders, and participating on work teams within the project as necessary. The time commitment will vary, but the position will take on average 15-25 hours per week. United Way of the River Cities – Development Director
United Way of the River Cities (UWRC) seeks a dynamic individual with a heart for non profit work to grow the position of Director of Development. This is a full time staff position with overall responsibility for developing and enhancing revenue streams needed to support and advance the community impact work of UWRC in its five county service area.  Essential duties involve development and implementation of a diversified plan to sustain and grow revenue and secure new sources of funding from areas including workplace giving, corporate gifts, individual donations, major gifts, planned gifts and special events. This position also serves as staff liaison for various programs and initiatives. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field and 3+ years development experience. Demonstrated track record developing fundraising strategies and meeting goals, excellent public speaking, oral and written communication skills are required.

Special Olympics West Virginia – Director of Special Events – Hurricane
This position is responsible for the planning, organization, oversight and completion of multiple special events throughout the state along with the development of new events.  The successful candidate will have the ability to continuously create and implement marketing strategies, manage all media from social to print and broadcast, recruit and provide oversight for volunteers, secure sponsorships, and identify opportunities to promote the organization and its mission.  Excellent communication and organizational skills required, along with the ability to create and maintain community-based partnerships while working both independently and in a team environment. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, management, event planning, education or related field is required, with a minimum of two (2) years professional experience highly preferred. Makerspace Coordinator VISTA
West Virginia students are looking for you! Are you interested in improving education in the Mountain State? Then join The Education Alliance’s team today! The Blended Learning program is a cohort of 7 rural West Virginia schools that improve STEM offerings for students by using a “blended” approach to education. Face-to-face instruction is enhanced through Makerspaces that enable hands-on, project-based learning. Participating teachers “blend” digital instruction using a Learning Management System to organize and create content that enhances student learning. This position will provide the Blended Learning school with additional “people power” to research digital resources for STEM courses, assist teachers to build project-based learning activities, and develop sustainability strategies for the schools’ Makerspaces. Makerspace Coordinator VISTA’s serve full-time for one year at local schools in 5 West Virginia counties. Members receive a $12,310.78 per year living allowance, $6,095.00 education award, one year of federal non-competitive eligibility status, life insurance, health coverage, and child care assistance (if eligible). Members serve in the beautiful hills of West Virginia that offer numerous outdoor activities including hiking, biking, mountain climbing, white water rafting, and skiing. Friends of Deckers Creek – Operations Manager
Friends of Deckers Creek (FODC), a nonprofit watershed group based in Morgantown, West Virginia, is searching for an Operations Manager to support the Executive Director, VISTAs, interns, volunteers, board members, and other devoted community leaders and Federal and State regulatory agencies and granting organizations.  The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the organization, including administration, grant preparation, environmental projects, accounts payable/receivable, fundraising activities, membership mailings, newsletter production, website content maintenance, and special events execution. Candidates must have at least an Associate’s Degree or higher in Office Management, Business Administration, or another related field, as well as three (3) years professional experience, strong oral and written communication skills, an independent initiative, and exceptional organizational skills.  Experience in a non-profit, environmental, or fundraising setting highly desirable. LifeBridge AmeriCorps – Food Pantry Assistant (Parkersburg)
Catholic Charities West Virginia is offering a LifeBridge AmeriCorps position out of our office in Parkersburg. Member responsibilities include, but are not limited to: donation pick-ups from local grocery stores, weighing/recording/stocking donations, assisting with preparing and stocking for food distribution days, assistance with special events, recruit and schedule volunteers, organize food drives, and filling in for volunteers and staff as needed. This full-time position offers a living allowance of $13,732, an education award of $5,920 that can be used by the member or a direct family member, health insurance benefits, and valuable ongoing training provided by Catholic Charities and the LifeBridge AmeriCorps program. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, excellent computer skills, and a valid driver’s license are required. Carnegie Hall – Marketing Director
Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg is seeking a creative and dynamic Marketing Director to develop and implement our marketing plan using a wide variety of marketing and communication strategies. The Marketing Director will manage a large portfolio of marketing activities for performances, exhibits, special events, and educational programs. The Marketing Director works across media platforms from digital/social media to print and broadcast. The Marketing Director works closely with the management team to create an annual marketing plan that engages and involves the community in the programming at Carnegie Hall. The successful candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills and be a highly organized and detail-oriented team player who will work with staff across our organization to help ensure the success of our programs and events. We are looking for a candidate with strong computer skills who has demonstrated success in the creation and use of digital and print media, is experienced in web site design and maintenance, and is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, public relations, or a related field and two years of experience in a fast-paced marketing/communication environment is preferred.
