West Virginia Rivers Coalition-Development Officer, Charleston

Mission West Virginia Kinship Navigator/Coordinator
Multiple positions will be hired across the state.  Hires will be employed by Mission West Virginia but will be housed in DHHR offices in their local area. Mission West Virginia, Inc., a non-profit providing services statewide, seeks a candidate to work with relative and kinship families to ensure that they receive necessary services and appropriate resources. The primary goal is to ensure that all needs are met for relative/kinship families in as timely a manner as possible. Volunteer West Virginia – Financial Manager
Volunteer West Virginia, a small state agency of ten kind and hardworking individuals administering over $6 million in federal and state funding to support AmeriCorps and volunteer programs statewide, is seeking a Financial Manager. The Financial Manager serves as the chief financial officer for the West Virginia Commission for National and Community Service under direction of the Executive Director. High Rocks – AmeriCorps Positions 
High Rocks Academy has multiple AmeriCorps positions available. The Hub in Lewisburg looking for 2 members to help create and facilitate programming for The Hub’s flagship youth entrepreneurship programs, Tech Express and the Student Café, as well as other High Rocks programs, and serve as a mentor for youth in these programs.  Service would primarily be based at The Hub, in Lewisburg, WV, and candidates should have a strong interest in building and developing business and leadership skills in local youth.  Candidates will recruit program participants, recruit volunteers, provide youth mentoring, participate in summer camps, plan and organize youth events, carpool youth to events, organize college access workshops, plan and attend college trips, and be a role model of learning and leadership to West Virginia’s youth.  Make a difference in a young person’s life that they will never forget. High Rocks Garden, Foods and Wellness Education in Hillsboro is looking for 2 members to Recruit students and volunteers to learn and grow with you in the gardens, in the kitchen, in wellness and in entrepreneurship, for a hands-on education in the importance of healthy food choices.  Together you will plant, care for, harvest, pack, store, process and prepare vegetables from the High Rocks gardens and high tunnel, learning about the health and nutrition available from locally grown produce and providing nourishing options for their peers and for the local market.  This hands-on education broadens students’ understanding of the importance of healthy food choices and gives them an immersive experience of participating in the local economy as producers. The Phil Gainer Center in Elkins (High Rocks partner site) seeks an AmeriCorps member that will focus their service on planning new community-oriented events and contributing to ongoing events as well as special programming for students participating in after school programs with a focus on experiential education. Carnegie Hall is looking for a creative and dynamic individual to join our team as Box Office Manager/Education Associate. The Box Office Manager is the first point of contact for patrons calling or visiting Carnegie Hall. The Box Office Manager manages the day-to-day operation of box office and is responsible for ticket sales for all performances and events and for registering patrons for classes, workshops, Kids’ College, and other activities. The Box Office Manager serves as Education Associate, assisting the Education Director with youth and adult education programs and serving as Assistant Director of Kids’ College, our summer arts day camp. The Box Office Manager works with the Education Director to facilitate registration, schedule and communicate with teachers/teaching artists and students, evaluate programs, and manage data for all education programs. Inspire West Virginia – Part Time Organizer, Charleston
Inspire WV is a program of Inspire U.S, a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization. Full time position with the West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition.
