Catholic Charities WV – WV Birth to Three RAU 1

Catholic Charities has a full-time Birth to Three Intake/Interim Services Coordinator position open in the Morgantown office. The full time ISC will work with families of children with developmental delays or who may be at risk for developmental delays, mainly in the Marion County area. The ISC will follow-up on child referrals; conduct family interviews to gather child and family information; assist families with initial linkages they may need; assist with eligibility determination and/or IFSP development; coordinate transition procedures as needed for the child and their family. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Human Services Field such as social work, early education, special education, elementary education, nursing, psychology, counselling, sociology, speech and language pathology or equivalent field of study; valid driver’s license and dependable transportation; ability to work in a team environment. Catholic Charities WV – Parent Partner
The West Virginia Birth to Three RAU of Catholic Charities West Virginia is looking for a full-time Parent Partner to be located in Wheeling.  The Parent Partner is a liaison between the RAU and enrolled families, creates newsletter, thoroughly knows and shares community resources, completes child find activities, and maintains a Central Directory of resources for the region. The Parent Partner must be a parent of a child/children who is in or has received WVBTT or Preschool Special Education Services. Parents must possess a high school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Educations or related field preferred. Have or be eligible for state certification through WV Early Care and Education System. Prior experience and/or willingness to work with persons from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Catholic Charities West Virginia – AmeriCorps Worker
Catholic Charities West Virginia is seeking a motivated AmeriCorps Worker to join the Neighborhood Center team. At the Center, the AmeriCorps worker will assist the Kitchen Manager to ensure the cleanliness and operations of the kitchen, food pantry, and dining area.  He or she will oversee the Center’s food pantry distribution that takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, sort and document donations, stock food pantry shelves, and assist in the preparation and serving of Center meals. The AmeriCorps Worker will also be responsible for maintaining the kitchen and dining room area in a sanitary and efficient manner, and this may include: washing dishes, mopping floors, and cleaning the walk-in refrigerator and other areas. Must be able to work with persons of varied social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
