West Virginia Child Advocacy Network– Director of Program Services, Charleston
The West Virginia Child Advocacy Network is seeking a passionate, service-oriented leader to join their team in Charleston. The Director of Program Services will perform functions related to the operations and sustainability of child advocacy centers (CACs) in WV, quality assurance of the programs and services of CACs, and administration of private sector sub-grants. Qualifications: 3-5 years’ experience in membership associations, community organization and development, multidisciplinary work, training and grants management. Knowledge of the dynamics of child abuse and issues related to assisting victims. Statistical evaluation and program quality improvement expertise. Mature, self-motivated, good judgment, flexibility, positive attitude. Catholic Charities WV – Adult Education Instructor
Catholic Charities West Virginia is seeking a full-time Adult Education Instructor for a program located in Huntington. Job duties include: 1) Provide high quality academic instruction to enrolled adult learners. 2) Create effective and engaging lesson plans. 3) Teach reading, writing, and math. 4) Administer and interpret formal/informal assessments to detect baseline academic functioning and to measure progress. 5) Deliver multi-level instruction to learners of varying academic levels. SSVF Case Manager-Eastern WV Community Action

Mission West Virginia Kinship Navigator/Coordinator
Multiple positions will be hired across the state.  Hires will be employed by Mission West Virginia but will be housed in DHHR offices in their local area. Mission West Virginia, Inc., a non-profit providing services statewide, seeks a candidate to work with relative and kinship families to ensure that they receive necessary services and appropriate resources. The primary goal is to ensure that all needs are met for relative/kinship families in as timely a manner as possible. Bachelor’s degree in human service field with working knowledge of the foster care system required. Licensed social worker preferred. Knowledge of DHHR FACTS system preferred. West Virginia Rivers Coalition – Eastern Panhandle Field Coordinator

High Rocks – AmeriCorps Positions 
High Rocks Academy has multiple AmeriCorps positions available. The Hub in Lewisburg looking for 2 members to help create and facilitate programming for The Hub’s flagship youth entrepreneurship programs, Tech Express and the Student Café, as well as other High Rocks programs, and serve as a mentor for youth in these programs.  Service would primarily be based at The Hub, in Lewisburg, WV, and candidates should have a strong interest in building and developing business and leadership skills in local youth.  Candidates will recruit program participants, recruit volunteers, provide youth mentoring, participate in summer camps, plan and organize youth events, carpool youth to events, organize college access workshops, plan and attend college trips, and be a role model of learning and leadership to West Virginia’s youth.  Make a difference in a young person’s life that they will never forget. High Rocks Garden, Foods and Wellness Education in Hillsboro is looking for 2 members to Recruit students and volunteers to learn and grow with you in the gardens, in the kitchen, in wellness and in entrepreneurship, for a hands-on education in the importance of healthy food choices.  Together you will plant, care for, harvest, pack, store, process and prepare vegetables from the High Rocks gardens and high tunnel, learning about the health and nutrition available from locally grown produce and providing nourishing options for their peers and for the local market.  This hands-on education broadens students’ understanding of the importance of healthy food choices and gives them an immersive experience of participating in the local economy as producers. The Phil Gainer Center in Elkins (High Rocks partner site) seeks an AmeriCorps member that will focus their service on planning new community-oriented events and contributing to ongoing events as well as special programming for students participating in after school programs with a focus on experiential education. High Rocks Educational Corporation – FIRST2 Network Student Coordinator
High Rocks Educational Corporation is seeking a full-time Coordinator to recruit, build leadership with, and employ first-generation college students in West Virginia who are majoring in science, technology, engineering, and math.  This is a National Science Foundation initiative, funded through the next 5 years, to increase participation across the nation in STEM fields.  The position will work with our FIRST2 steering committee leadership and with key state partners to build and leverage a state-wide network of students, colleges, state leaders, K12 partners, and the National Science Foundation to promote the advancement of first generation college students in STEM fields.  This applicant must be organized, good with detail, and enjoy mentoring.  Must have strong skills in working independently, time management, personnel management, social media, marketing, communications, and technology that allows for remote collaboration. Seeking experience with program development, network development, institutional change, education, and policy work.  Responsibilities include student recruitment, mentoring and retention, student leadership development and accountability, network staffing, community outreach, policy advocacy and more.  Travel required.  Building good relationships with first-generation college students and their home institutions is critical.Passion for youth leadership and strong interpersonal skills a must.  College graduate and/or first-generation college-goer a strong plus.  High Rocks is an innovative team environment with a strong mission to educate, empower and inspire youth in West Virginia. Carnegie Hall -Box Office Manager/Education Associate
Carnegie Hall is looking for a creative and dynamic individual to join our team as Box Office Manager/Education Associate. The Box Office Manager is the first point of contact for patrons calling or visiting Carnegie Hall. The Box Office Manager manages the day-to-day operation of box office and is responsible for ticket sales for all performances and events and for registering patrons for classes, workshops, Kids’ College, and other activities. The Box Office Manager serves as Education Associate, assisting the Education Director with youth and adult education programs and serving as Assistant Director of Kids’ College, our summer arts day camp. The Box Office Manager works with the Education Director to facilitate registration, schedule and communicate with teachers/teaching artists and students, evaluate programs, and manage data for all education programs. Experience teaching or working with children/youth a plus. The Box Office Manager also supervises our continuing efforts to preserve the history of the Hall through a historical exhibit and digital and paper records and archives. We are seeking an individual with a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience; exceptional organizational, time management, and computer skills (experience with SalesForce or PatronManager and digital form creation/management a plus); excellent written and oral communication abilities; a strong work ethic; and a positive, friendly attitude.
