Regional Meetings
We’ve all been there: Surrounded by people working toward a common goal yet feeling entirely alone. In a moment where nonprofit organizations are working harder than ever with limited resources and a high burnout rate, we’ve reached a pivotal moment. We must come together or collapse in solitude.
It is time to gather, share, listen, and reflect. In an effort to build regional relationships and a unified front for nonprofit organizations across the state, the West Virginia Nonprofit Association is hosting free regional roundtable discussions: to be a force of unity and a pillar of strength for those putting in the work, showing up when no one else is, and keeping hope alive for families and individuals in our communities.
All organizations are encouraged to attend, you do not need to be a WVNPA member! Keep reading for more information & to register.

Session Agenda

Introductions & Regional Snapshot
Everyone introduces themselves: name, organization, and one word describing how their organization is feeling right now. The WVNPA shares a brief overview of statewide trends.
What is Happening on the Ground
A facilitated open conversation. We’ll pose a few grounding questions and listen. What is your organization navigating right now? What do you wish you had more of?
Activity: Needs Mapping
A structured excercise to surface shared needs across the room. Small groups discuss: “What is the one thing that, if the WVNPA could help with, would make the biggest difference for your organization?“
Break
Stretch, refill your coffee, connect with a neighbor.
Activity: Regional Connection Brainstorm
The most generative part of the meeting. We’ll explore: “What would be most valuable for nonprofit leaders in this region to do, build, or have together?” Peer learning circles, shared advocacy, collaborative grants – anything is possible.
Wrap-up & Next Steps
The WVNPA reflects back the themes that surfaced, shares specific commitments for how your input will be used, and outlines what comes next. The conversation doesn’t end here.
