  • Evaluating and modifying the plan

Strategic Planning is an essential step in helping your nonprofit organization achieve success. It will require you, your Board of Directors, your staff and your constituents to examine the environment in which you are working and the critical issues and challenges you face. It will help you decide how to meet those challenges and fulfill the mission of your organization.

Ask yourself if what you and your staff do daily helps to advance your organization’s capacity to carry out your mission. Having a viable Strategic Plan will help guide your answers to that question.
