Originally from Massachusetts, Meghan moved to West Virginia to follow her passion for rock climbing and has developed a deep love and respect for the community she’s found here. Meghan holds a Master’s degree in Education with a focus in English from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and comes from a background in teaching. In addition to a career in education, Meghan has worked with nonprofits both national and local over the past decade hosting events, educating recreationalists in stewardship practices, and building relationships for nonprofit organizations and their stakeholders.

She is deeply fulfilled when her education background, skills in writing and communication, and passion for working with nonprofits come together, and looks forward to blending her strengths into the Membership Engagement Coordinator position.

In her free time, Meghan volunteers at a local animal shelter and holds a board position on a local climbing organization in the New River Gorge. She enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, and hanging out with her two pups, New and Meadow.
