Hilaria is the Director of Programs & Engagement for the West Virginia Nonprofit Association (WVNPA), where she leads the development of educational programs, conferences, and member engagement initiatives that strengthen nonprofit organizations across West Virginia. Over the past five years, she has helped expand professional development opportunities, foster meaningful connections among nonprofit leaders, and create engaging experiences that provide practical resources and build organizational capacity throughout the state.

Prior to joining WVNPA, Hilaria served in a similar role with Philanthropy West Virginia. A lifelong West Virginian from Morgantown, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering of Mines from West Virginia University. After a successful 13-year career in the mining industry, she transitioned to the nonprofit sector to pursue her passion for strengthening communities and supporting the organizations that make West Virginia a better place to live and work.

Hilaria lives in Morgantown with her husband, Rodney, and their daughter, Courtney. Outside of work, she enjoys camping with her family, gardening, and volunteering in her community.
