Hilaria joins the WVNPA after nearly five years in the nonprofit sector.  Prior to becoming the WVNPA Program & Engagement Coordinator, Hilaria served in the same capacity with Philanthropy West Virginia. She is a native West Virginian hailing from Morgantown.  Hilaria has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering of Mines from West Virginia University.  After spending 13 years in the mining industry, she made the switch to the nonprofit sector to follow her passion of supporting local communities and helping to further the state she is proud to call home.  Hilaria currently lives in Morgantown with her husband, Rodney, daughter, Courtney, and a house full of pets ranging from cats to a snake.  In her spare time she enjoys camping with her family and volunteering within her community.
