2024 Spring Roundtable Meeting – Wheeling

The WVNPA is partnering with Carnegie Hall for this one day session.  Join us for an in-depth conversation with Brett White, CEO of the ALICE data and share how you can incorporate it in your grant writing.  After a networking lunch, you will then hear from a panel of funders, AmeriCorps representatives, and more on what to include in a grant application or report. Panelists will be announced soon!

Program Highlights:

  1. United for ALICE Presentation: Kick off each meeting with a presentation by Brett White and Margaret O’Neal on the United for ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) initiative. Learn how nonprofits can best utilize this information in their grant applications to support ALICE households.
  2. Networking Luncheon: Enjoy a networking luncheon to connect with fellow nonprofit leaders and share insights and experiences.
  3. Funders and AmeriCorps Panel Discussion: After lunch, engage with local funders and an AmeriCorps representative in a panel discussion. Gain valuable insights into what funders are looking for in grant applications and reports. Learn about AmeriCorps programs, requirements for hiring a Vista, and how to apply for a Vista employee. Understand how these elements link back to grant applications and funding opportunities.
