Join MNA for a three-week webinar series budgeting and leading your organization through times of uncertainty.  This session will include downloadable and customizable Excel templates – with instructions for long-term use – to build financial scenarios, settle on a finalized budget, and monitor budget performance.  The goal of the series is to equip and empower nonprofits of all sizes to wade confidently into planning and monitoring financial performance for 2021 and beyond. As an added bonus for registering for this series, MNA will provide you with access its full suite of downloadable and customizable Excel templates on financial leadership.  These templates instructions will enable you to analyze common financial statements, project cash flow, produce cost-benefit analyses of projects, and much more.

Who Should Attend
Nonprofit leadership teams, financial officers, accountants, multi-hat nonprofit staffers, anyone responsible for crafting or managing a budget for their nonprofit.

Sessions take place Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Eastern Time

All sessions will be recorded and the recording will be available to all registered participants. Participants who are unable to attend one or more of the sessions will still have access to all course materials. October 22 | Building the Team and Budget Process

  • Engage your team to better understand the 2021 outlook
  • Understand your current process and where to improve
  • Set the stage for a successful budgeting process

October 29 | Building Scenarios and a Budget

  • Use scenario modeling tools to anticipate unknowns
  • Explore likely and unlikely outcomes
  • Identify your most likely budget scenario
  • Identify areas of risk and uncertainty within the budget

November 12 | Monitoring Budget Performance and Tracking Vitals

  • Identify key drivers for your most and least likely budget scenarios
  • Understand what to monitor and track
  • Build a plan to course correct when needed
