The WVNPA is looking for a visionary leader who can work from a home office, network with some of the state’s most exciting leaders and changemakers, and advocate for excellence in a sector that has a huge impact on the state’s economy. The perfect candidate will lead the agency into the organization’s next phase of growth and development.

Well qualified candidates are great communicators and self-managers, work easily with diverse audiences in many settings, have excellent organizational skills, are creative and successful problem-solvers, and are forward-thinking leaders. The perfect candidate will work with board and membership agencies to develop programming including an annual conference, online and regional events, and nonprofit principles and practices. The position will be responsible for overall fiscal management of the organization including raising annual revenue and building donor support in partnership with the board of directors.

The position supervises a small support staff located remotely. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field (public relations, communication, business, social work, law, etc.) with at least 5 years of nonprofit experience.
