- How to build a culture that works for your organization
Brief Summary
Building a collaborative and creative organizational culture requires intentional design, psychological safety and establishing a shared purpose. We will review tangible ways that leaders and staff can help to build a strong culture for your organization. Boards, partners and funders will often unknowingly influence culture. How do you identify when this happens and how you should react?
Detailed Summary
This workshop will first teach the outline for building a strong, collaborative and creative culture. We will then ask the participants to work in small groups or pairs to consider and define their own organization’s culture. Then we will extend that to include the board, strategic partners and even funders – how are they influencing the culture (in both positive and negative ways). Depending on the size of the group we will end with either a large group discussion and Q&A or smaller groups discussions.
