Presenter Bio: Christina Cudney

Christina Cudney is the Community Reinvestment Officer at United Bank, where she holds primary responsibility for building out the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program throughout the Bank’s multi-state footprint by developing strategies for lending, investment, employee volunteerism, philanthropy, and communications that help meet the banking needs of historically under served geographies and populations. United Bank’s employee volunteer program was awarded the 2018 Community Commitment Award by the American Bankers Association Foundation, recognizing it as top in the nation. Cudney started her career by serving 2 years as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Charleston, WV and in the City of Pittsburgh Mayor’s Office. Following her time as a VISTA, she served as Volunteer Coordinator at the United Way of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, PA and then Projects Coordinator at Greater Ohio Policy Center in Columbus, OH, providing technical assistance on vacant property strategies, managing outreach, and assisting with policy advancement. Cudney holds a B.A. in Urban Studies with an emphasis on nonprofit management from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from West Virginia University. She serves on the board of directors for the West Virginia Community Development Hub and enjoys various volunteer opportunities both within and outside of her role at the Bank.
