2024 Spring Roundtable Meetings

Join us for a series of engaging and informative Spring Roundtable Meetings hosted by the West Virginia Nonprofit Association (WVNPA) in collaboration with the Tygart Valley United Way, Carnegie Hall, United Way of Central WV, United Way Alliance of the Mid Ohio Valley, and United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. These one-day events are designed to provide valuable insights and resources for nonprofit organizations across West Virginia.

Program Highlights:

  • 1. United for ALICE Presentation: Kick off each meeting with a presentation by Brett White and Margaret O’Neal on the United for ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) initiative. Learn how nonprofits can best utilize this information in their grant applications to support ALICE households.
  • 2. Networking Luncheon: Enjoy a networking luncheon to connect with fellow nonprofit leaders and share insights and experiences.
  • 3. Funders and AmeriCorps Panel Discussion: After lunch, engage with 2 to 3 local funders and an AmeriCorps representative in a panel discussion. Gain valuable insights into what funders are looking for in grant applications and reports. Learn about AmeriCorps programs, requirements for hiring a Vista, and how to apply for a Vista employee. Understand how these elements link back to grant applications and funding opportunities.
