There’s so much to know and do to run a successful nonprofit organization! Planning and organizing. Budgets. Legal regulations. Volunteer management. Marketing. Outcomes evaluation. Grant-proposal writing. And so much more. Staff and volunteers are passionate about the organization’s mission, but not always knowledgeable about effective operating practices.

To help you learn how to increase your nonprofit’s effectiveness, or just improve your own knowledge and skills, West Virginia Wesleyan College’s School of Business is offering a graduate certificate in nonprofit management. To be eligible, you just need an undergraduate degree in any field, and a desire for personal and professional growth. Through coursework and collaboration with other learners, you will develop skills, increase your confidence, and access a network of professional support.

To earn the certificate, students will complete four, three-credit MBA courses related to nonprofit management:

  • Management for Nonprofits
  • Human Resource Management
  • Nonprofit Funding
  • Project Management

The certificate may be completed over one calendar year or two academic years.

We are currently forming a cohort of learners to begin Fall 2015. On-line and face-to-face options will be provided.

Invest in yourself by becoming a highly-skilled nonprofit professional.

Contribute to the improved effectiveness of the nonprofit organizations you work with.
